Buddy of mine has this tag and was wondering if the spike hunters saw any good bulls? We have found a couple we like and are going down this weekend on the deer hunt to look for them again. Thanks in advance

Chances are the bulls you are seeing will move quite a ways before the late hunt starts. Figure out where they winter and look in that direction.

Thanks his dad had this tag 2 years ago so we know where some go just wondering if people were still seeing some good bulls after the rifle and muzzy LE hunts.

unless winter starts really soon and this weekends going to push 70 I think the elk might stay high. I have this tag also and I also checked things out last weekend and saw elk pretty much where they have been for a month. My brother in law had this tag 2 yrs ago and we had early and heavier snow that year and we caught them just off of Spring City cemetery, but the landowner let no one in so we got to look at them, 42 bulls, no spikes, all branch antlered. They will eventually end up their or out by Johansens wrecking yard, but they seemed to be staying put for now.

You are seeing the same thing we are. I hope you kill a big one and I will keep you posted on what we see and kill incase you havent found anything worth shooting. Thanks for the info and good luck.
