I posted this in the Idaho forum but figured everyone needs to see this. If you have seen a wolf or even scat, kills, or heard a Wolf, report it to fish and game. At least some of them are trying to solve the wolf problem. I know there are now wolves in Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, Utah, Colorado, Oregon, Washington, Northern California. If we can't shoot them at least report them.
Here is the Idaho site:

I have a hard time responding to stupid posts. Are you saying there is a number like 1-800-i-saw-a-wolf.??? The only number I will call is 1-800-i-shot-a-wolf. Oh wait......That's my cell number.

I haven't heard of any in Northern California. I hope there isn't, that is all we need we can't even take care of our lion problem a wolf problem would doom our big game!!!! Nocalhonker

There are four (4) wolves in Yuma, AZ right now that a guy I know needs to get get rid of since he just lost his wife. And no she was not attacked by them, they were her "pets".

Not sure how he plans on getting rid of them, but I had one of them, the big male come up behind me back in 2000 at Bob's house here in town, I didn't trust that thing at all. Should have seen what the male and female wolves done to the inside of his house in two days while they were gone. Totally ruined everything in three rooms, what a mess.

Wolves in the house? DUUUUHHHHHH

I thought that the idiots that let them go in Yellowstone were stupid!
Letting them have free run of the house I recon they get what they deserve!

Time in the hills is always worth more than money

They're pure wolves? That's crazy

I have a dog that 80%(or more)Sleddog mutt and 20%(or less) Timberwolf. He is an amazing animal. I had no idea he was a low content wolf mix when I agreed to take him. Just figured he would be a great backcountry ski partner.

I couldn't imagine owning a pure wolf.

There are rescues and sanctuaries that take them.

The more people I meet the more I like my dogs

Buddy of mine spent several days in ID/MT hunting Elk. He had an encounter with a pack of wolves that followed him. I mentioned to him this thread and asked him to recount his story.

Apparently it was just getting dark and he saw one, then several and they all began to follow him for about 15 minutes. He was yelling, throwing rocks, branches... basically crapping his pants becuase they were definitely following him. They didn't attack him but he said from his entire life of adreneline events... this one topped them all. He was blown away at the snarliing and stalking that they were doing on him.

I will try and get him to tell his own story.

Stay tuned.
