Last week I spent a couple of days in Jackson Hole, WY. There were 7 big non-typical muley mounts for sale in the Jackson Hole Wildlife Company in downtown Jackson Hole. All seven were being offered for sale for $120,000 after being recently remounted. One of the gents working there told me 5 had been taken by a hunter in eastern Washington and the other 2 came from Idaho. Unfortunatly I did not have my camera with me, as I seldom have a need for pictures when my wife is shopping!

If anyone is in or planning to be in Jackson Hole it would be great if you could get these 7 bruisers on film and share with us all.

Dean,

I am in Jackson Hole right now and saw those bucks today. They are amazing!! We are going back to town tomorrow for some breakfast and I will run over and snap a few photos. I'll try to get them posted by tomorrow night.

For those that haven't seen them, WOW! Just wait......

I sure wish we could get these 7 bucks posted. They were all great bucks. The "gent" working in the store didn't appear to be a hunter. He told me, for what it is worth, that the 5 bucks came from eastern Washington and were taken by a guy who is no longer alive and the other 2 came from Idaho.

In a way, i felt sick by seeing that type of price tag on those horns. With that type of money it drives the market for bigger horns only one way. And that kind of money attracts the scum, who will be pounding the resource illegally.

I guess we take the good with the bad.

Here they are boys, enjoy! I numbered them so you can keep them straight from one photo to the next.

So the question now is, which one do you shoot if they are all standing side by side in the field alive??? I think I go with #5.

Take care,
Shelby

I say #5 then #3. Wow, those are some awesome bucks. That is quite a chunk of change they are asking for. I wonder if they will sell them?

Good Hunting!

I think I'd ch1t myself to death before I could even pull the trigger on 1, however if I got my shot off I'd be aiming at #5 and if there happened to be one between my rifle and #5 that had to take the bullet before he did, then I'd hope it was #2.

Just out of curiosity, anybody know which two are from Idaho and what 5 are from Washington??

Thanks for posting!

The kid I was talking to didn't know for sure, but he said he over heard the owners of the heads talking about #5 and #6 being from the same place. They look like they could have similar genes, both with droppers on the same side. Hell, they all look alike to me, Monster Muleys!

Unreal! Man that must be something to see in person! Those are all fantastic.

I wonder if he would take $110,000 cash?:)

#5,3, then 7. Great bucks, too bad we don't know what ones were in WA, although I can guess the county that is known for big knarly heavy NT's.

Lets see, $120,000? I think I could pay that off in less than the 60 years it took to harvest these beauts. And just think of all the money I'd save by not having to buy all that hunting gear, applying for licenses and holding my breathe to see if I even draw a tag. Not to mention all that money I'd make by all the vacation day's I'll save by not having to trek across those dusty mountains for the many days spent scouting just to see skinhead after skinhead of deer. Plus I won't have to worry about staying in shape anymore to traverse those rugged mountains.
And we all know that our chances these days of seeing one of these monsters up in the hills with a gun and current tag in our possession is like winning the lottery.

I'd say $120,000 is a bargin. Especially since I won't have to buy that new $45,000 truck.

BTW, I'd squeeze one off at #5, once my double vision cleared up and I got the drool off my trigger finger
