HELP! CO 511 Elk Tag ??????

I am hunting CO unit 511 looking for a bull... anyone hunted the area before? If so where are the elk held up this time of year? Please any info would be great! I have two jobs and Run a full time Horse training facility on top of it... have not had time to go scout and have a family to feed... so any help would be great!

I live in that unit and when the shots start ringing the elk head for the private and there is a lot of private land throughout the entire unit. I have killed 2 six points in 2 years but they were both shot on private property. Hunt the Hayman fire areas as you will be able to see quite aways, otherwise its tough to see more than 30 yards. Alot of hunters during the 2nd season. I'm trying to help my friend find the elk too and it has been tough.

Thank you. I will give it a try... going to try tomorrow morning. Hopefully will find something. I dont care about size just need something to help fill the freezer and have a good time doing it. Thank you again.
