2008 Colorado Bull

This is the bull I got in Colorado with a leftover tag. The hunting was tough especially when you walk for two hours in the dark to get to a nice vantage point and after looking through the spotting scope for an hour, you start to think that there is a piece of dirt in the shape of a four wheeler stuck on the lens of your scope along with a bright orange thing right next to it because everywhere you look you see the same thing. But it was a fun week off of work and I didn't see anyone else in the area that got a bull.

Can't complain about a bull like that when you take him with a leftover tag. Congrats

You did well. Would love to read just one story about Colorado that mentions a lack of hunters.

Congrats.

FamilyMan, There are places like that in CO, I know it's tough to find them but when you do it sure is Great!

Conglads, on the bull. I thought camo blaze orange was illegal in Colorado. I was thinking it had to be solid blaze. Anyway, conglads again on the bull. CB

Nice bull for what sounds like a pressured area.

I'm assuming you were talking about your spotting scope and not your rifle scope when you said you started to think there was a "piece of dirt in the shape of a four wheeler stuck on the lens of your scope along with a bright orange thing right next to it" I've seen hunters point their rifles at other hunters to check them out and its kind of freaky.

Dusty, nice bull, and your red beard looks like mine. I'll post some pic's for you. We got a 385 bull out of 072 this weekend. Brandon

Yes while I was down there I heard from my uncle about the blaze orange deal but it was all I brought and this is my rookie year here in CO. But thank you guys for the compliments on it very much. I'm heading out saturday for a leftover dear tag that is private land only so we'll see how it turns out. Hopefully I can get the trifecta for the first year here. It's good to see that I know someone on here Brandon, I'm looking forward to seeing some pics of the bull. Thanks guys!!
Dusty

and yes I'm talking about looking through my new toy hd 80 sts and not my rifle scope.
