My first BIG STINKY!

As most of you have witnessed this year, elk have been sparce in some area's. Ain't nothing like cutting close.. last day, last moring. The first elk I have seen all year, pulled it off on the last day. I was thrilled to have my first elk! Nothing real interesting about the hunt, just the fact that after 10 years of hunting hard, I finally sealed the deal! Long hours, sore feet/back, and lots of hiking, I got my first big stinky elk! This winter will be much easier to handle while eating elk steaks!

Congrats!!!! Any 1st elk is a good elk. The first one is usually the hardest.

thats awsome great looking cow great kill congrats and yes they do come easyer but the harder the hunt the better the reward .... and that smile tells the story
