NM unit 23

Any suggestions on where to "begin" to look for mule deer in New Mexico unit 23 on public land where a vehicles access is restricted?

I was fortunate enough to draw a Nov 5-9 tag and I am very excited. Any information would be much appreciated.

There is the Blue Range Wilderness along the AZ border.

I have the same tag. Any of the ridges along the Blue, San Francisco or Gila river. Its a long way to the bottom and lazy hunters don't go there.
