Checking out sites like this, really helped me out. Hopefully I can repay the favor by posting pictures of my bull. After waiting my entire life for the chance to hunt a big bull, I decided to put my faith and all of my Utah points on the Fishlake Late Unit. My good friends Ted and David helped me scout the area and Ted and I ran into this bull a week before the hunt (David had been watching him for a few weeks previously). We didn't get a good look at him, but we knew he was a definite "shooter." Many other good friends helped out as well. Ray and Brandon spent countless hours on the unit looking for good bulls with me as well. Finally, the sleepless nights and constant worry about bagging a good one left as I was able to have a great opportunity on this bull opening morning at 322 yards. My Browning 30-06 came through with one shot and none of us could believe our eyes when what was a good "shooter" bull turned out to be 6 X 7 scoring 373. He has 54 and 51 inch main beams incredible firsts (19.5" and 17.5") and great thirds for the Fishlake Unit (20.5" and 19"). With my son Canyon, dad Bruce and older brother Ty there, as well as other good friends wanting to share the experience, the day ranks in the top ten of my life! What a hunt, what a bull! Thanks to everyone who helped out. Memories like these last forever.

Thanks for looking!

Cade

Wow! Excellent bull. Those are crazy long 3rds! They sure grow them big down there, compared to the small thirds up here in the North. Way to get it done!

That is one AWESOME BULL!
Congrats!

"Yeah, I'll shoot him"

That bull is a toad anywhere! But you killed the cream of the crop for fishlake. Congrats on an awesome bull.

Cade,
Super bull...Congrats for all your hard work!
You shouldn't be letting on about the Fishlake... All us locals know there are not these kind of bulls on the unit. Must have slipped across from a good unit...LOL..
I'm glad it all worked out as it did for you. It will be a great memory for the rest of your life...

Cade I could not PM you, if you could please PM or email me at [email protected]

I am a NR and put my dad and myself in separatly most years for fishlake bow tag or muzzleloader tag. I would love to talk with you about your hunt (general info no specifics needed), both my dad and I should draw it very soon and as you know we will never get to go back so I want to make the best of it.

You could cut 4" off every tine on your bull and I would be thrilled to take him!

Great bull and post Redsoxman! Those fronts are incredible. I knew you would make the shot with the pressure on. Your son is pretty impressive also. It's great to see him out on the mountain with his dad. Go Yankee's!

Congratulations Red Sox brother. That's a mighty fine bull, its amazing you were able to pull it off with a youngster. Too bad about the world series, although I'm just relieved to have seen them pull off two in my lifetime.

Cade,

Congrats on a GREAT BULL!!! I had heard this week that you had killed a nice one. I saw all of you loading up your stuff across the street at your dads house the other day , but did not know that you had a Fishlake tag!

That is a great bull and it makes it even better that you can have your family and friends with you.

Again, Congrats on a TOAD of a BULL!

Jason
