Hey guys
I have a question for all of you. When you tell people about your bucks and you tell them thats its a 4x5 or whatever. Are you including the browtines in that. Or do you say a 3x4 with eyeguards? I grew up in Wyoming and always use to count the eyeguards as a point and then I moved out to Utah and alot of the people out here say a 3x4 with eyeguards or whatever it may be. What do you say?

What are you still doing up? .....oh, waiting for Wyoming results like me! Good job, stick it out, maybe only 6hrs and 17mins to go.
I have always heard you don't count the eyeguards unless you are talking about scorable points. That is why you always hear people talk about a "Typical 4 point".
Really I think do whatever makes you happy, but make sure to shoot another great buck like that one next year.
Remember not to type too loud, your dad will come down and make you go to bed. ( I am using the same tactic as not to wake up the wife!)

Id go to bed but the Wyoming Draws havent come yet. AAHHHH!!! Yeah ive heard that about only counting it if your talking scoreable points but i count it no matter what. Thanks

Every point counts in my book , my son shot a cactus buck a couple of years ago with 19 points on one side and 21 points on the other. The antlers come up where the eye gaurds should be, with no main beams it is a weird rack. We didn't want to say he shot a 0 X 0 with eye gaurds, so we decided to call it a 19 X 21. All the record books count them so we do to.
Thats a dandy buck you got.

IMO No for mule deer, yes for whities. I will say 4x5 with eyeguards not 5x6.
