Off to Arizona

This week I am going to Arizona to hunt the Late Late rifle bull elk hunt in unit 23. The hunt starts next friday and we (my two brothers in law and myself) will head out tuesday. We haven't done any scouting prior to the season so we will go down blind three days early and stay for the duration. I was wondering if anybody knew if cell phones worked in this unit we will be there for 10 days and need to be able to contact the "real" world. Any advice on were to start looking would be great but if not that's ok. Its our fault for not making the 10 hour drive to scout. Make sure and tell us how you did. Wish I was out on a hunt, put up some pictures if you can.

I have buddies out in another unit and they have not taken an animal yet. Once the shooting starts, it gets difficult for sure.

Well we just got to a hotel room in Page, AZ on the way home from our hunt this is the first time I have been able to get on the internet. We were able to tag two respectable late season bulls. The hunt was from the Dec 5th to 11th we tagged on the 7th and the 11th. We were hunting hard all season and it was a tough hunt. The elk were pushed deep into the canyons and only gave extremely long shots. I will post pics tomorrow and stories.
