Looking for info on elk in the Medicine Bow Wyoming area.Public or Private land.

Well Area 7 Elk is in the Medicine Bow N.F. and having hunted that area this year there are elk pretty much everywhere. Box Elder Creek has lots of elk and Laramie Peak has lots of elk so I'm sure surrounding areas IE 16 has plenty of elk. Like I was told by the Biologist this area (7) host 7-9 thousand elk and I'd say from talking to ranchers and hunting it at the end of September there are more. If you are wanting to hunt this area or others in the Medicine Bow N.F I'd concentrate on areas... well areas within the forest!
