Just for those who think I only have 'OLD' pics. Got out this weekend up into the highcountry. Yesterday was a bust. I got completely drenched and all I saw was this. :(

Today was much better. Finally the first day of actual sunshine in the last 2 months. Saw 6 bucks. Nothing to get too excited about but this young dropper buck might be worth a second look in a couple years.

Here's a teeny tiny rat deer. Looks like some cool growth on the little Twirp. Might be worth a second look in a few years as well.

With all the rain we've been having, even my moose sightings have been way down. I guess even Swamp Donkeys get sick and tired of being wet all the time too. I did find this cow and last years calf though.

Thanks BC,

Looks like that little buck might grow up to be narrow and tall?

I forget just how big moose are until I see pictures like that.

F@#$%g A!
I knew you would get out soon even if you needed dive fins!
Still wet huh? LOL
Most of us are sweating our rears off!

Some nice pixs. Do you see many 'droppers' in your area? I hunted in your neck of the woods but mostly in the Chilcoten and have yet to see a dropper or find a shed with a drop.

The dropper genetic is pretty strong in my area. Heck, I even see yearlings with droppers. :) I picked up a ton of droptine sheds over the years as well. Funny how some areas are like that. A buddy of mine shed hunts a little further south and he can't find a single droptine shed.
I have picked up a few dropper sheds in the Chilcotin, but that area really has a stong typical genetic.

Thanks BC.
Very nice pics, as always.
Even during wartime, you can be counted on to come through with great photos.
Your pics bring a lot to this site.

Nice pics, BC. As usual, you make me want to head that way. And please send some of that rain our way. It's way too hot and dry here in eastern Wyoming.

Dana, nice to see you made it up on Sunday, Me MattB, and Steveo got up south of Kamloops, finally had some nice weather. Glad to see its drying up for you. Now, just gotta find the goats.

When in doubt, floor it.

Diplomacy is the art of saying "nice doggy" until you find a big stick.

Looks cold ane wet thats for sure! But thanks for posting the photos. Those moose sure are large animals.

borntohunt

good luck on finding a real big brute with a few droppers later this year.

Canada is such an awesome place! Thought I would share a couple pics of my backyard with you BCBOY! I live in Central Calif. These are the Central Sierra's.
In this first one I could not believe I found a cell site. I was hours from anybody.

First time I ever seen snow in my hunting spots this late in the year (7/17/05). We are just too far south & not high enough.
