unit 20 archery elk

Can someone tell me why the draw odds are so much different between bulls and either sex for this unit ? Ive hunted it rifle and blackpowder and wanted to try it archery so I was studying the draw odds and found this. Thanks

I have a feeling it is Colo 20 archery you are talking about? Anyway, if you look in the regs 20 either-sex is only a small chunk of 20 while the bull tag is good for the entire unit.

Yeah Colorado unit 20 sorry. Where does it show this chunk ? It says except for estes park area ? What the heck does that mean ? Help me here. Im not understanding this. Thanks

Sounds like the whole unit is open except around Estes to me ? Am I messed up here ?

Elkcrzy1, that sounds right to me. Only the bull tags are good closer to Estes Park. You never know what will happen in 2009 so be sure to re-check the 2009 regs in case things change.
