Just wondering if anyone has been anywere up Nine mile canyon and seen any late season cows starting to hang or migrate twards the green .... was up over thanksgiving and nothing except a big old Tom track ... and wild horses actually stalked about 20 of them . tell you that story later any ways let me know if anyone has seen anything

When does your hunt end? We killed some cows up there this last January. One toward the top of the peak, on the right side just as you enter in Harmon Canyon. The other was near the Cold Springs WMA up Cottonwood Canyon, right near Flat Iron Mesa. Look for "burns"...those crazy cows stay high, even with lots of snow. It was crotch deep where I whacked mine. Good luck and let me know if you have any questions.
