Here is a buck killed in the 1930's that a friend of mine was given.
Some extremely nice folks gave it to him after it sat in a basement and garage all these years.
Measured this rack twice just to be sure and the net nontypical comes to 233 3/8 book.
Widest spread for those that are curious is 33 1/4".
Thanks Kevan for letting me share this with everyone on MM.

Apologize for the picture quality..........
I am using snail mail and a girlfriends SLOW computer that I am ready to use for target practice.

Very pretty rack. The front end view almost looks like flames licking off a fire. Don't let him stain it. Take it and rub it naturally on brush to get color back.

Now that's what I'm looking for. To heck with those 4 point bucks, give me something with trash anyday.
Cool buck!!!

Jerry,

Nice Rack. I've got a line on a complete elk skeleton with rack up on the Unc that a non hunter hiker friend found. He showed me where it should be. Nasty, steep, brushy, etc. Want to go?

I'm in Dinky Dog Deer land on vacation right now but will be back on Sunday.

That's a super buck. I'm headed out to a little scouting and I hope I can see one that's got half as much trash as him. Congrats on finding an heirloom buck. Hang on to him for life.

Glad you all enjoy.
The owner is the one pictured holding the rack. I just happen to know him and he was kind enough to let me share.
Kevan is already taking steps to officially measure and mount this beauty.......

Mike-Buckspy he has been told by myself and others not to fudge with the rack. Heck you will probably get one like that in the not to distant future. It will look great along with those hog typicals you already have.

This buck was killed in the 1930's in Colorado on the western slope.

Fred- We definitely need to hook up sometime soon. I need to contact you since my number has been changed again. PS-Beware of Bubba and get back safe.;)

Trent-(master of showing dinky dog deer hunters how to get'er done.;)-Still getting settled and thanks for the welcome back.
Photography and filming is going well out here.
Bet you have another slug picked out for this year.

Brian-Founder -Bet your close to that mark already..Another of many yearly big buck whackers on this site. It's just a matter of time till you show us they still exist. As for me I think I will turn blue from holding my breath before it happens.

Here is the frontal view that I forgot to attach..
