favorite season

hunting season, usually in the fall. somewhere around October. Actually I live in wyoming so its rifle season for me.

Archery Elk!! Something about walking into a Canyon at dawn with a bow in hand hearing bugling echoing down the canyon, COME ON SEPTEMBER!

Oh yeah, definetly Archery Elk. They're all great but you haven't lived until you've called a big rutting 6 point in to 30 feet !!!

I love it all but if I had to pick one I like the November elk hunts here in utah its the open bull muzzle loader that is during the first of November I love the cold morning air on the mountain

I'm pretty fond of utah's general rifle hunt, we buggled probably 15 different bulls opening morning, and i shot my on the second morning at twenty yards after calling him in. O and the cold weather is always nice!

I enjoy going out whenever the bulls are bugling, so later in the archery hunt, or early rifle are probably my favorites.
And I don't have to be hunting to call it my favorite. I just love to go and watch and listen to big bulls screaming!

Love my Octobers, Hunting and the World Series it doesn't get any better than that.
+ 1 on the cooler temps. Not COLD, just cool temps..........

Hunting season is my favorite. With 30 years of hunting experience, I no longer get "Buck fever" 95% of the time when hunting with a rifle. 8 years ago I started bow hunting and it has been an adrenaline experience that I still get when I'm bow hunting, especially when you hear an elk screaming so close.
