Colorado bull for mobility impaired son

We are looking for a good opportunity w/or/without outfitter to score a raghorn bull in Colorado 2010.
My son and I hunted New Mexico a year ago with a landowner tag that broke the bank. He took a 350 bull that broke my back. I loved it.
We want to hunt elk together again, cheaper. I know that the Meeker / Craig are has many ranches that offer good success and perhaps a shot from the truck.
Is there a season that you recommend? Is there a outfitter that you recommend?

If you are willing to cow hunt I have a place in mind. Would take a ton of points to draw a bull tag. No outfitter needed to score a a cow. Beautiful too.
