Here's a pic of a neighbor kid named Jeremy. Jeremy grew up in difficult circumstances, and grew interested in hunting after watching the neighbor and I go on our fall forays. Jeremy still struggles with a few things, but all in all he's a great kid and is learning that life can be as grand as you want to make it.
Jeremy shot his first buck ever this morning with a bow, and I think you'll agree that it's a dandy! Green net is right at 165, so he is now spoiled by taking a book buck on his first hunt. He did it all by himself, and was accompanied by my 'son' Sheridan whose parents now probably hate me cuz he's so stuck on turkeys they are doomed to buying him camo until he's old enough to kick out of the house.
Jeremy says that he didn't believe all the hunting shows where the hunters talk about their heart pounding........let me tell ya, he admits that they were right!!
