I dont understand

I went up hunting today, climbed up to almost 9600 ft., was looking down in one of my favorite basins I like to hunt. Then, I seen some movement in the trees down in the middle of the basin. I grabbed the spotter as quick as I could, and what did i see, a FREAKIN hunter waving his arms and looked like he was talking to one of his buddies right in the middle of one of the best basins on the wasatch front. please tell me why you put your freakin camp in the deers kitchen, please, if it was a backpacker/hiker, i could understand

Ahhh, the joys of hunting public land in a state that sold out ALL their archery tags...You got to hand it to the hunter though....at least he's away from the roads.

That is one reason we don't pack in anymore. These guys would go right down in the nice dark timber and good canyons and set tent up right where the elk have been laying all summer.

I feel your pain brother! At least you can count on the fact that those guys probably won't shoot the the big ones outta there, they'll all be gone. Sometimes it pays to let the idiots push the deer to you. Thats what I'm doing this year. I've sat back and wathched the spot I'm hunting for 3 years now and I'm setting my stand up where the deer go to get away from pressure. Its not a pretty spot but I promise you the deer will be there opening morning.
