Colorado Elk Hunting

I have never been there so just wondering what units would be good to look into, not looking for trophy bulls just a good hunt with good rut activity. Just want to get out and hunt the rut its addictive..scince AZ dosnt want my money might as well give it to Colorado. Any help would be appreciated thanks Albert.

Try around Steamboat Springs.

Good hunting in the San Juans and it's much closer.

the san juans could be a good bet being its close and the elk numbers are good. I personally like unit 43 around marble. the country is rough but it keeps a lot of hunters away and the pressure low. i've been able to take a bull the last 3 years in row in unit 43
