Wow I either have no life or to much time on my hands at work! Probably a little of both. Anyway, I thought I'd share a few more velvet buck pics since they've started rubbing around here :(. I think there are a couple 200 inchers in this batch of photos :)

Outstanding photos. Any suggestions on a camera for me to buy? Looking at the Nikon D100, but need some insight from a pro like yourself. Any info would be appreciated!

Thanks
Dustin

The one with the double droppers in the 6th pic is my favorite. I just love those near typicals with equal sides.

Incredible pics!

Sure, that's it.....you have no life. Um, no....So I'm gunna go with the "too much time on your hands at work" thing. That'd make more sense to me.....

Super bucks!!! I'll tell ya, we're not worthy. And nice photo work, too, your usual great angles and lighting and timing. Any chance you can put a hobble on ol Woody for me? I didn't think so.....

What a nice bunch of pics those were for me to see on my last visit to the computer before heading out to your fine state tomorrow!! Talk about getting pumped up a little. That was the ticket!!!!! I'm printin those rascals out so my hunting buddy can get pumped up too.

Thanks for sharing those great photos, you're certainly one of the crown jewels of this forum.

(Next picture you post, though, needs to be of you with one very dead Mr. Big, OK?)

Jeff, got any more/closer pics of the Buck on the rock field? Looks like he's got mucho mass, and great symmetry. He's one of my fav's, but wouldn't hesitate to shoot any of them bucks except for the two youngins running with them.

DK,
them are bucks my dreams are made of. Just unbelievable photos again, we appreciate.

In case you haven't hear your client Tom V. (my neighbor) scored on a great archery buck last week in colorado. He said thnks and we'll be calling you.

Ohhh My! If that doesn't get your heart rate up nothing will. Simply awesome photos of some dandy bucks. Someday I will have my sights on one that size again.
Thanks a bunch for the Pics!

THANKS for the nice words guys, glad you enjoyed some Colorado velvet.

I'm the furthest thing from a professional (but thanks) and use a very average camera compared to the D100 you mentioned. If I didnt mind toting around a big body and the heavy lenses I'd probably have that camera instead of my Panasonic FZ10.

Michael
I have several "A" quality pics of the buck in the rocks from the past 3-4 years but this year he was very skittish and I only got a few quick pics of him before he got into the scrub pine. Never saw him again.

WOW! Those are some absolutely outstanding bucks, Jeff. Great camera work, too. I can't wait to go to Colorado in November, and hope some or all of those bucks are in the units I'll be hunting!

DK,

You are making me sick - literally. Those bucks are just too darned good. I WASTED my Wyoming license and shot a dinky-dog rat of a whitetail buck. If I give you the GPS coordnates, can you tranquilize one of those bucks and relocate him at the prescribed place at a time I determine?

Seriously, THANKS. Great pics as usual.

Jeff,
I just have to ask. Are any of these bucks picked out for your hunt? If you were to take one of them, which would it be? I mean, I'm not sure which one I would shoot if I had the chance at each, but there's something about that guy on the rocks that I like. Feel free to post any of the other pics of him, even if they aren't Calender Quality! :) Thanks a million for these Jeff...

UNBELIEVABLE!! you cant be more than 10 feet from a couple of those bucks.. That is simply AWESOME! Good to see the Double cheater buck again. Just Incredible Jeff.

Just when you think it can't get any better! Finding bucks like that is amazing enough, but to get that close and take photos like that! All I can say is thank you!

Steve

Very nice! Thanks for sharing. Shouldnt you be packed up and in the high country soon? Jeff

Cheers to an unbelievable 3,000th post! I think that takes the prize for the most photographed inches of antler by far, on live bucks of all time on MM, in one post. Thanks for another unreal batch of eye candy.

WOW, that's it - just WOW!
