I have no job and it is boring for me these days, so I have begun to play more with some video I have. I am learning Final Cut and this my first go with this program.
Anyway, this is a bull we encountered on a CWMU hunt. I was guiding the guy, it was a rifle hunt but he carried a bow. Had him at 80 yards. I have my take on what I would score him at, let me hear yours. It is a bit long, 2 min or so, but he gives you some good views.

Can't wait for the fall again.

We did not end up killing this bull. And it is top end for the unit.

Thanks for checking it out,

I just tried it again at my dads place on his computer without logging in and it worked fine again. Sorry, I hope someone gets to see it

Great bull Jason,

Is that the unit I drew for deer last year? Looks like a shooter for sure. Hard for me to say for sure but I would probably throw out a guess of 340+. Great upper end, little short up front but a bull I would drop the string on any day! Post up some more video of other bulls if you get a chance.

i just watched the clip. Click on the link above the photo, it'll take you to photobucket, after a few seconds the clip will appear and run.

Real nice bull. I'm no expert but from what i saw and no other guesses base mine off of, i'd say 330-340, nice main beams!

On mine the link is not usable, so I copy and pasted it in a new browser, and it took me to photo bucket and wanted a password but not a username, I dont know but I couldnt get it to work.

LAST EDITED ON Apr-04-09 AT 11:20AM (MST)[p]Sorry this is not working for some of you. I should have used Youtube. I have tried monsterhuntclips before, but I use an apple and it won't let me upload anything.

Here is another link, maybe this will work better.

Chad, yes where you drew.
I was thinking right around 340. We did kill a 350 bull last year there. Mostly 300 to 330 bulls.

Thanks

edit- same link I guess. It changed it when posted. Sorry. New to this

Very nice bull for sure! Hope you get him this year. He should be a tank! I think he is every bit of 340 but not much more. Add 20 inches or so this year and wow. Good luck getting him!

does not work. notice a nonalphabetic character right after word 'view' in the link.

CDCLUB link worked great! thanks!
as for the bull, when you really get the tape out,320.
hellova bull! I'd whack him in a heart beat where i hunt!

Very nice bull, I wouldn't have a problem putting him down, About a 335 to 345 bull I'm thinking.

Worked for me that time, thats an awsome bull I put him at 330 as well.

Definitely better than the 320ish Bulls you guys have killed their before. More like 340ish using my terrible skills......

That is a beautiful bull and I don't see anything wrong with him! Now as far as scoring goes, it is hard to say for sure, but I would say around 330, maybe a little more, he is a good solid 6, long main beams, good 1's and 2's, decent thirds, great 4th's, above average 5th's and 6ths, not super wide nor excessively massive. Definitely a great bull in most hunts, but one you pass if you know there are 360, 370, and 380 bulls in the area. Find him next year when he is bigger, put him down and tell us!

I would have to agree at 320! I think any bull at the 320 mark and over is a shooter bull. Heck I always get a rush out of 300 class bulls. Its just awesome seeing them in the wild.

Thanks for the link fix. I guess I just picked the wrong one. I have since added a tripod to my camera. Tough to pack around, but worth it when watching.
I am a dedicating video man for an upcoming turkey hunt, I will post some of that then. It is pretty tough to be the guide and video guy.

That was me that said 300 something. I cut the audio away as I said "330 340" which is what I thought he would go.

Thanks for all the responses and good luck to everyone in the draws.
I have failed in mine so far.
