I have a 15b elk tag and I thought I might have Tommy Maldonado help me out with his service. What do you think?? If you want You can email your response. Thanks twokids

I sent you a note., post here if you didnt get it. You can also call me 602-454-2146........Allen

TwoKids: The email came back to me undeliverable. Basically, I stated that I am using Tommy for his scouting service in January. I am bowhunting Coues and believe he has a very reputable and worthwhile service to scout an area that I cant get to with all my other hunts. He is taking pictures, spending lots of time in the field and providing instructions, maps etc...So far I am very pleased and know he is the real thing, not a scam. He definitely wants his product to be good, or word of mouth from customers would ruin his business. I looked him up on the web and have checked him out, and feel comfortable with him.....I think the website is www.swhighdeserthunts.com but dont have my briefcase here to confirm. Give him a try, it only will increase your odds for an unknown area............Allen

Bura Nut, thanks for the info, we have decided to use Tommy. As you know scouting and pre info are very critical to a successful hunt. Good luck on your Coues hunt. I will give you a call to find out more info. Thanks twokids

No problem, I hope you get on a big one. I am pretty sure Tommy has seen some good bulls in that unit.......

Twokids, I used to hunt and guide in 15B and there were some dandy bulls in that unit. I shot an average 6x6 in 15B that was one of several satellite bulls on a pretty big herd in some nasty stuff on the south side of Slaughter Mesa. A buddy of mine went in the next morning and shot the herd bull. He scored 381 and change.

Venado muy grande!

Thanks Randy, I have been where you are talking and it is thick. The hard part is waiting for the hunt to start. Thanks twokids

Randy, who did you guide for in NM? I would like hook up with him about opportunities. I have been working with a few guides over there and want to expand my list of contacts. Havent heard from you in awhile, where are you hunting this year? I leave this thursday for Wyoming then AZ for coues and Mexico this December. I am hunting with Duwane Adams on the Kaibab in Nov. Hope you have some good hunts lined up.......Allen

I guided for myself and once or twice with a Bill Saathoff, from Sierra Vista, but that was before New Mexico changed the laws regarding residency, licensing, etc. I'll be hunting only in Pennsylvania this year, since I'm working full-time in Washington (Homeland Security) and can't get away much. If I can break away for a weekend or two, I may bowhunt in Ohio. Plans for this year are pretty limited. Hope you do well.

Venado muy grande!

Vinihunt: Thanks, I cant wait to leave in the morning. There is snow coming down and PW shot an antelope last night, so I am excited. I will get alot of pictures of me and my son, and if I have to, I will mail them into MM so they can be posted. I am still not computer literate enough to scan them, so somehow I will get them on the board. Thanks again Vinihunt: hope your season goes great...........Allen
