Panguitch Lake - Late

Got hit for $795 Panguitch Late, Anyone hunt this last year??Never been in this unit.

I hunted PL during the archery season. I used Red Creek Outfitters, absolutely one of the best experiences in my 40 yrs of hunting. I couldn't have done it without them! I was fortunate enough to take a 350 bull. PM me if you want more info, I got some good help from MM's last year.

I second Sukie on Red Creek Outfitters! They grew up on that mountain and if you want the biggest bull on that unit give them a call and they will work hard to get you a big bull. I have used them in the past and they are incrediable and worth every penny. Good Luck!

LAST EDITED ON Apr-26-09 AT 06:12PM (MST)[p]i think i drew the pang lake archery tag this year eaither that or my step dad drew a early rifle on sw desert but i have better odds. pang lake is a great unit! i have never hunted the late hunt on it but i have been up there alot during archery season for deer and elk. i would think the elk will be at a bit lower elevations during this hunt and prob not on top.i ve heard horse valley is good for the late hunt. good luck! o and i think a majority of the good bulls taken are in 330-350 range. but dont be surprised to see bigger
