boulder early rifle and muzz

hey guys 2 of my brothers finally drew there elk tags this year, one of them drew boulder early rifle and the other one drew muzz, just wondering if anyone has seen any good bulls wintering or picked any great sheds up from this year? any help would be appreciated for we dont know the unit well YET but are planning on putting in as much scouting time as we can, and i know ther are alot of knowledgeable guys on here

I've been living down on that unit all year. I picked up one spike shed, saw 4 cows so far(3 of which were angus), and didn't see a single bull. There's freakin mountain lions all over that unit. I saw at least one mountain lion every day during a week long stint I had on that unit............Wait, did you say boulder? My bad, I thought you said dutton. Heck their every where over there. Scout the edges of the boulder near the dutton really hard the rest of the year with your quad and I'm sure you will see them to.

thanks stinky! i guess i better bring some dogs down for you on the dutton during your hunt so those lions dont kill your big bull! oh and ill be on the border alright me and prism plan on taking a troop of scouts down the thursday before the hunt to drive all the bulls off the dutton on to the boulder! LOL

I was just down on the Boulder Yesterday. I saw 3 Bulls Monday morning. Their antlers were out past their seconds. They were in some fields in Grover. Saw some cows in the same field the last couple of nights. Good Luck to ya.
