Totally lucked out. Either my 71 year old dad or I drew a Wasatch tag with two points. It's gotta be my dad because I don't have that kind of luck. I hope that it's his tag. He's in pretty good shape, but you never know when your hunting days are over.

If any of you guys have drawn this tag in the past, I would appreciate some help. We know the Red Creek/Currant Creek area moderately well, but it's been years since we've hunted it (for deer).

I had the tag (2006) and have had two friends with the tag since.

I would be happy to help, let me know if you want to talk.

i live in the unit... great bulls called in a bull grossed 395 in my back hay field for a guy 2 years ago another 6x7 3 years ago and a bunch of very nice sixes for some of my friends or friends of friends we hooked up. my father drew out as well should be a good hunt. we joke that we have name them all. great area let me know how the hunt goes may be able to work something out for your father give ya some pointers

Congrats.....I am hoping to take my father out on one last hunt, same age as yours, buy physically not good. I think an antlerless is just the ticket. AS for yoru hunt, you have had some good info sent your way. I will be bowhunting in the Strawberry area and will keep my eyes open if that will help. kth

It's my dad's permit!!!

I'm stoked for my dad. I got my email informing me that I did not draw out. So, it's a swan song LE elk hunt for my 71 year old dad. The hunt actually ends on his 72nd birthday.

It's gonna be fun to scout my butt off to get him a nice bull.
