I am just wodering if all the cards had been hit or does any one know when they will be through. My card has not been hit and i'm getting a little miffed there was only 1 guy with the points i had last year that did not draw so that makes 2 of us in that bracket. There will be nine tags that go to the bonus and i dont think that there will be 8 rifle hunter switch to muzzle this year. has any one heard of this happing before to anyone or am i just being parinoid.

I am pretty sure all the cards have not been hit yet. At least if it was like last year. If I remember right charges are still happening after the results have been posted.
What unit are you thinking you will draw and how many point do you have?

I have 11 pts for the bookcliffs. My buddy drew an archarey tag for elk this year so i hope that i did not get booned like i said there is 1 guy with me that did not draw last year and 2 below me so i hope that it is just taking a long time.

I am in the same boat for archery. 8 points got tags in my unit last year, I figured I was good with 9 this year. Must have been a lot of swithching...I have NO activity on my card. I am bummed OUT.

I guess if all else fails and it was a computer glich which i am hooping it or maybe has not came through yet we'll have to raqise cain. I just can not see in my mind that many people switching not only there unit but there wepon with that many points it just does not make sense to me. If i dont draw i guess i will be able to help my buddy out which is just as fun to me

I don't expect much change for the residents, but I'll bet the non-residents will see a dramatic change in the odds. Still cannot believe the DWR changed this, where we can put in for everything. This is going to make nearly impossible for us to draw. No activity on my card yet, bout resolved I am going have to depend on Colorado for my hunt this year.

Tex, I am disappointed in the change for nonresidents also. In order for the DWR to make some extra money off of us they made the draw odds a zillion times worse. I think the DWR took a look at NV and AZ and thought they were leaving money on the table.

EVERY state requires up front, so why is everyone hurt? It is good for here where everyone puts the whole family in and party hunts. I paid up-front fees in AZ and CO and had to buy a AZ liscense. Still the best draw chnace in the country in NM. My $.02 and good luck to you all!!!!!

NM? good draw odds? Are you smokin something? antelope 22 years and nothing. elk 22 years and got 1 tag. deer draw for 3 years now and not even a general season deer tag. bhs 22 years and zip. ibex 22 years and zip. oryx took me 20 years to draw. I believe in utah you are guaranteed to go elk hunting on the very best units a least every 15 years. the elk unit i drew was a unit i settled for cuz i knew i'd never draw the good ones. Now that sucks.
