I had been hereing rumors of a 274 non-typical mule deer taken here in Sask this year with archery (not sure if net or gross)and I had a photo e-mailed to me today that shows a photo of it and it looks as big if not bigger than the one that has been posted on here lately. I do not have many other details and probably shouldn't post the photo but I am sure you will be seeing this buck in the magazines soon as well. This will make 3 deer that have grossed over 270 non-typical in Sask in the last three years.

Are You Kidding Me? 2 pending archery World Records in one year? WOW! Can't wait to see what drops throughout the rest of the season. Looks like 2005 could beat 2004.

It's not the same picture of the Colorado deer with the waterfall in the backgraoud? That would be cool if it is another record contestant.

Definately not the same deer and the photo I have is definately not the quality photo of the Colorado deer.

Who ever has pics lets see them. 2 contenders in lest then a month, that is great. Sounds like we are starting to get world class animals all over. Lets see the pics.

I guess since we have another photo on here I might as well add the one I was sent. It gives a little different perspective of the rack.

Just when someone thinks they've broken the world record another one is taken the same year...UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!

What a freak!!!

However, I do like the CO buck better. My .02

Michael~All Gods creatures welcome... right next to the mashed potatoes and gravy.

LAST EDITED ON Sep-27-05 AT 06:51PM (MST)[p]looks like a farm land buck, big deer though, still an accomplishment for sure...

What a STUD! I really like th first picture, even though the buck is not the best. The oats in the background tell a story about some of those Canadian deer. They are well-fed and get huge. Thanks for sharing yet another great pic and story.
