just got done reading the email. successful for hunt 401! just wondering if anyone on here has had the tag in the past? not looking for honeyholes just wondering what to expect during the hunt?

My cousin's son drew this tag last year, it was tough. He killed a 290-300 class 6 point on the last day. It was the first elk he had seen.

huntinrich do u by chance know if the rut was in full swing during the muzzy hunt?

I was on the Mt Dutton Muzzleloader hunt, not 10 miles from the Paunsaugunt. The muzzleloader hunt was better for rutting than the regular rifle hunt. The dates this year should be good again for the muzzleloaders. Look up Clay creek, in the reseeded area's, the elk like to rut up there.
