I was fortunate enough to draw the dutton. I'm planning on hiking in at least 2-3 miles and having a spike camp. I'm looking for someone willing to rent horses to help me pack out my monster bull.

Or i guess I could have stinky just put it on his back and pack it out for me...He sounds like a horse.

You just let me know where you'r at and I'll sure as heck help pack a few quarters at a time. However I don't pack out the antlers. Those big ones scare me! I'm serious. If you can't get horses you got me for free. I'll have my 600"er on the ground first morning and am gonna vacation the rest of the hunt so PM me and I'll be there!

He who stomps the greatest stinky wins!

Check at the Merc. In Antimony. I heard rumor of a local guy down there that will pack them out. GPS coordinates and a couple hundred. They might know who he is.

Check out high top outfitters.com for some information. They are a good group of guys and have killed alot of good bulls the last 10 years. I'm sure they would be happy to help wherever needed.

The Guys name you can get from the Merc in Animony is Ollie, hes a real cowboy, he has charged us 300.00 to pack out the last couple of Bulls we needed horses for, hes got this mini clydesdale looking horse that does a great job over all the logs down there. I have misplaced his number, but if I can dig it up Ill give you a PM, but really, you could track him down from the Merc or the Otter Creek bait shop.

Thanks for the information. Having horses on the dutton makes a huge difference. Im looking forward to my hunt, went down last weekend and saw some quite a few elk, and was impressed with the growth on a couple of the bulls. Lets hope they are still around come September.

Be sure to line up the horses BEFORE you pound one in a hell hole. Seems these guys get busy that time of year. You are doing the right thing getting things lined up now. I dont know for sure, but I hear bulls left to rot on Dutton is a common occurance.
