nevada bulls units 72&74

i drew a bull tag for units 72&74, has anyone hunted elk in this area before? i am treating this like its a once in a lifetime hunt probably because it is with a 10 year wait period. i live in central idaho , so a summer scouting trip isnt that far too go. Larry

72-74 the Jarbridge. Great rough hunting, you'll probably come in the back side west of Rogerson. Enjoy this one.

231 is also a great area, I'll be chasing cows there for the archery hunt again. I'll be packing a lion tag this year in case I see the same one as 2 years ago.

mdbrown, I hunted this area in 2005 and took a 300 class bull but this area holds some really nice bulls. Are you hunting archery, muzzy or rifle? There were some big fires last year which may hurt you or help you. fatrooster.

i will be hunting rifle. what hunt did you go on? did you hunt the jarbidge wilderness?

I hunted rifle in November on the Wilderness boundary glassing into the wilderness and killed my bull in the wilderness. I will send you a PM. fatrooster.
