Colorado 201 muzzle loading

The long wait is over. My buddy and I finally drew these tags. We are stoked to say the least. We are in information gathering mode right now and planning several trips to camp and scout this summer along with lots of time shooting.
Would anyone be willing share any experience thay have had? I welcome any and all info at this point.

What state are you coming from? I scouted last weekend on the Wyo / Colo border. I was looking for deer but did see a few bulls. Lot of water and vegetation so should be a good year for some antler growth. Was also a mello winter.

We both live over on the front range of Colorado. Where do you live? I have a brother-in-law in Rock Springs and another one in Green River. We hunted the Wyoming side for deer in area 102 a few years back and I have hunted deer and antelope on the west side of the Gorge many times. I love that kind of country. Thanks for the info.
