Nevada Elk

I drew what will be my once in a lifetime elk tag in NV. Got my fifth choice, unit 131-132. I'm somewhat familiar with the unit having drawn a deer tag in 2006. I'd appreciate any info you are willing to share about the hunt. I've seen elk when I was scouting for the deer hunt and on the deer hunt. Looked to me like having all the deer hunters buzzing around moved the elk into the heavy cover and the nasty canyons. Anyways, if you can give me any insight, shoot me a PM.

I think You have a good idea as where the "Bulls" will be.The Herd in 13 is small and scattered.Past experience should do You well,most elk hunters in this unit have Trouble after the 1st few shots are fired.Will be in these units for the Last week of deer Season,as a Client from Az has drawn a tag.Good Luck --- www.silvergrandoutfitters.com
