I can't believe that I drew this tag! First time to put in for a super-low odds hunt. Anyway, I would truly appreciate any info/experiences with this particular area. I have info for 52 in exchange! Thanks and good luck with draw/hunts!

Congrats to you guys that drew this tag also! If anyone has hunted it and can tell me a few of the quadrangle map names, I'd surely appreciate it. I'm not sure how many USGS quads cover the area, but I'm assuming probably 5 or 6. I need to order some maps. Can't wait for this hunt.I've hunted 52 for the last 5-6 years.

I hunted the first muzzleloader a couple years ago, so Im not certain how much help I will be but I would be more than glad to help - send me a message or an email, [email protected] include your phone number and I will give you a call. If it makes you feel any better, when I drew the tag I talked to a lot of others who had hunted there and all seemed to have a "great area", which all were, but after my maps had circles basically all over the Vidal, I ended up killing my elk in an area that had not been mentioned, so in a nut shell, lots of elk all over.
