Aint it great how the mention of a simple bumper sticker can turn into a dumb-ass, racist issue? Folks need to stop being so whiny and over sensitive to such crap and worry what actually matters in life,...... being a descent human being to others! I get so sick and f-ing tired of all these a$$holes pulling the "race card" to gain sympathy or false empowerment instead of on merit.

Wow!! Someone deleted the post, I guess freedom of speech kinda went out the window here huh? Didn't see anything racist that was bad enough for a delete of post, I must have missed something here late in the post, kind of think if they didn't like the post maybe they should not have read it, Oh well life goes on.

I was the last one to post bess. It got nuked about 10 last night.

I was wondering what you had against shovels? The bumper sticker was very racist about the disparity between how some shovels get treated versus others. Wouldn't you like a better life if all you did was dig ditches or chicken poo? Some shovels get put in a garage and never used. How would that be?
 
I'm sure the post was pulled because there are a lot of hispanics who not only visit this board but sponsor it. Many of the moderators on this board have and rely on hispanics as customers and also as good friends. I don't think the post was totally racist but comments like "go back to your own country" and referancing that to blacks also is what got it nuked. The post was uncalled for regardless and served no purpose. Bobcat you are funny most of the time but every now and then you just sound like an airbag trying to show off. The thread was tasteless in some of the responses. And don't start bashing me, I stated that illegals were a bad problem in this country but many of the posts were bashing hispanics period and then started in on blacks. Go ahead and beat your chest Bobcat.

COWBOY UP CUPCAKE has to be one of my favorite sayings lately as well. I arrested a guy the other day for drugs, and he was crying like a baby all the way to jail, blaming everyone but himself for the problems he is having in life. I finally couldnt take it anymore and turned to him and said..."COWBOY UP CUPCAKE!" If caught him off guard and he quit crying and didnt say another word the rest of the trip to jail. :)

I think the "Go back to your country" remarks were aimed PRIMARILY at the "people" who were bashing America and how terrible "they" get treated. It was a remark in the sense of "if you hate this country so much, then leave. Don't sit here and complain about the best nation in the world!.

I understand that most "Mexicans" are proud of their heritage...etc but it really bothers me that us "crackers" can't do the same!! It also comes across at a much higher degree than just "I'm proud to be Mexican" it seems like it comes across as "I'm Mexican, I'm better than you."

I didn't get to read the last few posts of the thread, but this is the ONLY time I've felt dissapointed in this board. I thought we could discuss things like that, and not have to worry about it getting nuked because "It might offend somebody, or somebody might take it wrong". That's the biggest thing that PISSES me off. I've never been a mod, but I know I wouldn't want the job, because of the immense responsibilities that come with it. Just a mistake in my eyes.

I don't want to start another one of these threads, but I feel like I just did...

Sorry I caused so much trouble. It was just a lot of hispanic ( non illegal-US citizens ) people were pissed about this thread. There are a lot of people who just visit this board and don't post that are some of the most respected guides and in general just good people and such that were pretty pissed. I have my opinions and everyone else has theirs. Just hope people think about posting sensitive subjects in the future regarding race, religon, politics, etc. MM got a black eye on this one from the emails I am recieving. Take care.

There was nothing said regarding "You have brown skin, you're less than I am". It was 100% in the sense that "If you entered the US illegally, and are complaining, quit it because you have no idea how lucky you are, and don't have that privilege. You give nothing to the economy, and take advantage of us, then leave us hanging."
Nobody likes illegal aliens coming here and taking $$$ away from the US economy and taking advantage of the US and since they plan to leave anyways, they have ZERO respect.

Everybody is racist, it's human nature, whether the thought when you first see somebody is "Oh, he's White" or "Oh, he's Mexican" it doesn't matter. The mind automatically see's color, and we can't change that. It doesn't mean that you despise that person, it just means that you realize that person is a different race.

It wasn't meant to offend anybody, and if I did I'm sorry you took it wrong. But I won't appologize for my beliefs.

Unreal! Our Grandpa's and Grandma's saw it coming... you can't even standup for yourself anymore if your a white american male. Were gonna pay for what our distant relatives did and said well into the next century and beyond. I have nothing again'st those who do it right and complain, (ie: Legal american, taxpaying, proud, any color) you have that right and probably earned it. But, to put down the most giving, loyal country in the world when you don't have that right blows me away AND for the liberals of this country that support that action or even defend it... spare us your goodwill and humanity work and move to the country you so dearly love to help. Don't forget to tell the hundreds of thousands of dead soldiers you really did appreciate their sacrafice.

I thought this website was about hunting. If you people want to talk about racism then find some website on white pride, gay pride, or whatever you are into and leave this one.
 
Been there BESS...can't say a damn word about any "single" person without it turning into you're a racist. Know where you're coming from. Always been of the opinion that if someone can come here legally and make good honest living, more power to em, hell, I call plenty of them friends.
