Calling all NV elk hunters. I've got an oppurtunity to help a friend with his muzzle elk tag and I need a little help. His tag is for 111-115, 221,222 muzzle. I've hunted cow elk in 113 and came up on quite a few bulls, some of them were 350-360 class. I've always said that I would go back to that particular spot if I ever drew bull, though I'm willing to look elsewhere. I'm new to the forum and not looking for a handout, just a quality hunt with some chances at a decent bull. Thanks guys!

Not sure what PM is yet. I think we were hunting in the southern part of the S. Mountains and possibly either Rye Grass or Gravel canyons? That's what it looked like at least looking back at my maps. We camped near the entrance to Blue Mass and a couple of wonderful Goshute men pointed us towards the elk. Specifically, I was wondering if this 113 would be worth trying for his bull, or if somewhere else might be more productive? Does your ranch hold elk? We would be willing to share the spoils and offer any summer help in trade for any kind of help. Thank you, sir

Maybe I can help a bit. PM me with some more Specific questions if you have any. We own a ranch in Unit 113. Where did you cow hunt? Anyway, let me know if you have any questions.

Jeff, I just pulled a Cow Tag for late Hunt in December. I would appreciate any info you could provide. Matt. 702.501.0973
