what is the best elk video?

im looking for the best elk video, i need one that shows big bulls, im not looking for a hunting dvd , but ont that shows allot of different big bulls. like david longs magnum muleys for elk. i need to hone my big bull scoring for my nevada elk hunt.

Any mossback video will show a lot of big bulls. I am also a big fan of the blacktimber videos. (The hunt, Roar of the Rockies) A lot of big Utah, San Juan bulls on those two videos.

I second Mossback videos. Great footage. However, that last video with the Spider Bull wasn't Mossback's best work. It had too many hunts without kill shots, including the Spider Bull. I understand cirmustances sometimes prevent the kill shot from being filmed but I hate being glued to the TV waiting for the shot and the scene cuts away to the Mossback crew sitting behind a dead bull.

Any of the Extreme Bull videos have good bulls, great footage and usually Steve puts the scores with the bulls just for your reason, to help us all field judge bulls. nwhunter

+1 on the Extream Bulls videos, there is a wide range of bulls and if they kill it they will give the score.

Another one that I would recomend is Bulls of the San Carlos. This video has more giant bulls in it than any I have ever seen, they are consistently passing on 370+ bulls.

Also, recommend the Extreme Bulls videos. They are excellent.

I bought several of the Mossback videos when our SW went out and the videos are awful. I have several of them and they are just poorly done. I know he is is a good guide and I am sure a good guy, but I feel as though I wasted good money on his videos. Go with the Chappell Hunting videos and you won't be disappointed.

The Primos Videos are great as well but they do not focus on the score at all, and dont give out the score of any of the bulls killed. Which is fine, Lots of bulls in the 270-370 range in there videos.

Hands down the best elk videos I have seen are the videos created by Jed Larson of Lakeside, AZ. Pure Elk Huntin Series and the Bulls Beyond Belief Series. Top Notch!!!!

Mossback puts big bulls on the ground and then a tape to them. I have learned more from Doyle than anybody. Jed Larson is the man. I've seen some of his footage and it rocks. I hope to see him in person this year.

I must second any of the dvd's of the Awesome bulls series done by John McClendon. He is a top notched hunter as well as a guide in Arizona. He has guided and taken world class elk for his clients and himself.

Steve Chappel and the extreme bull tapes get my vote. They are more informational and have the best hunting footage of any tapes I have, and I have a bunch of elk hunting films.4 and 5 are my favorites.
