Anybody on here hunt this unit? I'm not looking for honey holes just general information such as:
What kind of bull should I hold out for?
What are some general tips suggestions for this hunt Oct 17-21?
In general which side of the unit is better?

Be as physical fit as you can! Hunt where the roads stop and then beyond. I have hunted 17 several times and have always found my bulls in the steep and deep. 17 is easy to get your butt kicked in, but get away from other hunters and you should have little trouble finding a great bull. To me, 17 has the best bulls in the state, just gotta know where to be.
