Couple WY Bucks

Just got back from a quick 2 day'r to the cowboy state. We went 5 for 5. Nothing huge, but we had fun and didn't set our sites too high for the area we were in and the amount of time we had.

Got three of the hunts filmed for the next "Never Enough" DVD.

It was a fun hunt. My buddies 6 year old son came along and it was a lot of fun to share the hunt with him.

I'll raise the bar about 70" next week.

Thanks guys.

I'd never hunted deer around this area, and wasn't expecting a whole lot in the way of deer. The area is 99.999% private, but we had access to 2500 acres.

One of the guys did take one that is likely in the mid to high 160s. I was hoping to see some whitetails, but we never saw a single one.

I'm sure there are some bigger deer in the area, but it wasn't really hunt for big racks, just a good time.

The next couple of weeks are all about big racks!

Here's to hoping that I've got the shooting out of my sytems so I can hold off the trigger till mister B&C pokes his head out!
