New Mexico Unit 15 Youth Elk Hunt

My 15 year old nephew was fortunate enough to draw a youth muzzle loader tag in Unit 15 for New Mexico in October. This type of hunting is new to us and we are looking for advice on where to hunt, tactics, camping, etc.. I have had a number of people go above and beyond to help us. I am now simply looking to further narrow our search for lcoations and build on the information provided. As I hear more experienced elk hunters repeat the same thing is it very reassuring.
