NINE MILE RANGE CREEK SOUTH LE ELK

I drew out on the Nine Mile Range Creek South limited entry Elk unit this year, I have never hunted that area and was hopeing someboday has some info on it or even knows if there are many Elk on the unit. Late season this year runs from November 6, 2009 until December 31, 2009, this should help from what i am told. Any info would be great.

My son drew the same tag. Looks like we will see you on the mountain. The bad news is we have a week to compete with about ten other hunters and then after that about 600 cow hunters will be on the mountain. So hopefully we can get it done early. Out of 7 tags 4 bulls were taken last year on a short season so I think the longer season is really going to help on your success.
