GMU 15 NM

My wife was lucky enough to to draw a Unit 15 tag for the first archery season. Any suggestions from anyone on this unit. I have hunted 16 a couple of times so am somewhat familiar with the Gila. Would appreciate any info.

I hunted it a couple times but a few years back.

You will hear those elk in the meadows screaming- in the dark- but they will be long gone by daylight. I would hunt the transition areas or heavily used trails going back to bedding areas.

You can sit water especially if it hot. Best is a remote wallow or spring back near bedding area.

I hunted that unit for about 6 yrs till it got to hard to draw.I always liked the area next to az border around Hell Roaring Mesa Lots of water in that area.
