I;m very happy with this buck i got him 3 days before the regiong H hunt closed. The plan was to hunt the sagebrush country hoping to find a monster buck in the low country.I was going to be there for 6 days. The first three days we hunted we had only seen a couple of bucks and I had passed up a pretty good 4+3. We also saw a lot of elk and moose. The fourth day came around and we had 4 inches of snow on the ground with below zero temps.About 2 hrs. of glassing we spotted a deer feeding in the brush about 1 mile away. We took the spotting scope out and we could tell that it was a pretty descent buck so we made a plan. Finally we got about 400 yards from where we had last seen the buck and we couldn't see him , our only thought was that he had bedded down for the day. So I snuck aound the hill , my unlce stayed back to watch through the binocs. When I skylined I was about 100 yards from where the buck was. I knew he was there somewhere ao I started moving slow down toward him.All of a sudden he jumped about 10 yards in front of me he took of running by the time I could get A shot off he was 150 yards. I shot, the first one had missed, the buck headed for the skyline giving me the perfect shot. I shot again, that tie i knew i had hit him because i heard it hit! I ran over to where he was standing where i had shot but i couldn't see him.I just saw blood. I looked back at my uncle throught the binos and he was pointing for me to look behind me , so i turned aound and there he was laying there looking at me at less than ten yards! he jumped up and started running, so I shot again and that one put him down for good!It was a pretty exciting hunt.http://www.monstermuleys.info/dcforum/User_files/43591b7a2ea39ef0
