Hey everyone, I Drew the late season cow tag for currant creek. I also have a North Eastern muzzleloader deer tag.I Read in the antlerless Guide Book That I can use the cow elk tag During the Muzzleloader deer season..
Is this correct?
I just want to make sure I Understand the rule.

Thanks. UTHNTR

You can use a MZ to harvest your cow elk during the MZ deer hunt as long as you are in your cow elk area.

does that apply to all cow tags? I have a South Slope yellowstone cow tag and will also be hunting deer with a muzzy in that region/unit. Can I also take a cow elk with a muzzy during the muzzy deer hunt??

LAST EDITED ON Jul-15-09 AT 09:15AM (MST)[p]Never mind guys. I finally found it in the proc. Looks like I get to go after my elk and deer at the same time.. Wahoo!!
This is what I found in the Proc..

Additional opportunity
There is some flexibility if you are an antlerless elk permit holder who also possesses a permit to hunt the following seasons:
General archery buck deer?
General archery bull elk?
General muzzleloader buck deer
General muzzleloader bull elk?
Limited-entry archery buck deer?
Limited-entry archery bull elk?
Limited-entry muzzleloader buck deer?
Limited-entry muzzleloader bull elk?
If your buck deer or bull elk permit and your antlerless elk permit are for the same area?and you use the appropriate archery or muzzleloader equipment specified for your current hunting season?you may use your antlerless elk permit during your buck deer or bull elk season. However, you may not use your buck deer or bull elk permit during the antlerless season.
