2004 Colorado Buck Pic

As I sit here day dreaming about the hunt to come in a couple of weeks, I figured I would finally post a pic of the 26" 4x3 buck I took last year in Colorado. He doesn't have deep forks, but how could anyone resist a rack that dark and tall.

I didn't draw a buck tag this year so I'll have to focus on chasing Bulls around. Darn it!

Thanks guys. He was taken last year around Craig, Colorado during the 3rd season (2nd combined). I also was fortunate to take a 5x4 Bull. Great trip! We'll be leaving in a little over a week to hunt the same season in the same area that opens Nov 5th.

How was your hunt? Lets hear a story.....had some buddies that hunted unit 4 for deer..had a tough time. How did you do this year?

Hunted unit 4 this year 2nd season was horrrible on public land, way too many hunters. Couldn't get away from the crowds even 3 miles from the roads. Ended up taking a small 3 point for the meat. Won't go back again.
