I have recently moved to Northern Utah to work at Hill AFB and I bought a general archery elk tag. My family has some land up around Moffit Peak and Dry Fork and I was just wondering what is the elk herd like in this area, and is this even a good area to hunt? Any help would be appreciated alot.

The Areas around Kamas are open to any bull. However therew could be a lot af private ground on the unit. So be carefull. I know people that score on branch bulls each year but they do their homework and use horses. The elk will be where you find them so be prepared to work hard
