Full Moon Rut?

I am going to Eastern Montana the 3rd. week of November. After a few bad full moon hunting trips in the past, I swore to never hunt one again. Well I'm doing it again and hoping the rut wins out and the deer are active during the day reguardless of the moon. What do you guys think the deer behavior will be like in the plains?
Thanks,Mike

I've been hunting the Jordan area for deer since '97. We usually go the third week of Nov. and the bucks are in full rut.
Never really paid attention to the phase of the moon as to hunting sucess. We look over the deer for a few days till we find one we want.
Do a lot of sitting and glassing. Don't skylight yourself and watch the wind.
You'll have a great time.

your guess is as good as anyones. who know's what it will be like then. I would never have bet that it would be 70 degrees at the end of October. Right now it's 65 degrees at 7000 feet and no snow.

By then, the deer will be interested in breeding, but I dont think the moon has much to do with the rut. . . and cant even imagine worring about it. . .

There. Good luck.

Hmm This sounds like a question for MR> KNOW IT ALL aka's Rimrock338, Bobcatbess, are just a couple. They are the only ones that know 1/2 as much as me and can tell ya twice as much. But you might check out my post Who knows big bucks. I can hear it now.
