My dad drew this years Wasatch bull elk unit after applying for 12 years. He is 79 years old and can get around but not that great. I am hoping to get some info on where to hunt. I would prefer to hunt around the Strawberry area as I have a cabin up there we can base out of. I have hunted the area myself and know of a couple of areas to check out including the Avintaquin area, not real familiar with the Strawberry area though.. The perfect hunt for my dad would be to see a lot of decent bulls for a couple of days and then shoot a 300+ several days into the hunt. We will scouting 3 days prior to the opener. Any info would be great. This will be my dads first and only elk hunt and I want to make it a memorable one. He is from PA and my 3 brothers will be flying out to help. Any info will help. Thanks and God bless. I have info on the Dutton elk unit, the plateau pronghorn unit, and the Book Cliffs deer unit I will gladly share in exchange.

I told the gentleman to get a hold of Jim Hiatt as i am sure Jim can lead them in the right direction on the Wasatch.

Getting close now CLOCK IS TICKING !!!!!!!

I hear some good things are coming your way !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
