Here's a little teaser pic for you all. I shot the buck in one nasty hell hole of a quakie jungle.

Full details will be disclosed in the next "Never Enough Western Big Game" DVD.

Prism,

Congrats on one of the biggest deer I've ever had the opportunity to walk up on. That deer gives new meaning to the word mass, and great forks. Thanks again for a great hunt.

Please dont tell me you bagged that Monster on a Utah General Rifle Tag....if so, my jealousy will turn to hate!! :)

Congrats on yeat another AWESOME deer!! When youre tired of killing all the big ones, pass some of that "magic" on to me!!

SCOTT

WOW! Dont you have enought trophys already??? You could always just find em and give the GPS to bobcat!! LMAO!!! WOW AGAIN!!! Buck of many lifetimes........

You can never have enough:)

You know, as cool as it is to have taken this buck, it wouldn't mean near as much if I hadn't been able to share a week hunting with my dad and friends.

My 72 year-old father and I hunted hard for 7 days and scouted 2 days prior to the hunt. I can only hope that at 72 I'm in half the shape he is. Unfortunately things didn't work out for my dad and he didn't connect on the buck of his dreams, but he did have an opportunity which is something many of us may never have.

Yesterday morning before heading home we went out to find him a deer for the freezer and he killed a small buck. He'd passed several bigger bucks throughout the week. I've been fortunate enough to take some decent bucks, but still get a rush even if we're hunting 2 points. As soon as I lose that rush that only we as hunters understand I'll give up hunting. I would of gladly given up my oppurtunity at the buck I harvested if it'd meant my dad would of shot it, but it just wasn't meant to be.

It was one of the funnest hunts I've been on. Mrs. Cowslayers buck is a dandy, and it was great to have Chris and Becky there to help pack my buck off the mountain.

Maybe I'll get another teaser pic on here of a nontypical another buddy shot.

Nice! Your still welcome to use the video of my wifes muzzleloader hunt although I didnt get the actual kill shot. Also when you get ready to print your DVD inserts give me a call I can help you out.

I'll agree that this website is torture sometimes. I wonder how many hours of my life I've spent here the last 5 or 6 years. I imagine if I tallied it all up, even at minimum wage I could of made enough money for a couple of hunts. It's a great site and sure beats watching TV!

Manny, the pic is how I found him. It was awesome to walk up on a buck like this. He carries his mass clear into his tines which really doesn't reflect much in a score, but sure makes them look impressive. I've got lots more pics of him, but all in due time.

I think I'm done hunting deer for 2005. Though I may get a wild hair and head to Idaho for some archery hunting if I have the time and can talk someone into going with me. I do have a couple of more deer hunts to film though. I'm really looking forward to focusing on filming now instead of hunting/filming. It's a tough deal to pack a camera and a gun at the same time. That's one of the reasons I love David Long's Wyoming hunt a couple of years ago. To kill a buck like that on film all by yourself really takes some doing.

I think I'll get some good footage over the next couple of weeks of some big bucks going down. Hope so anyways.....

Man that is one impressive buck, great mass, tines, forks, damn! Great deer, can't wait for more info!

When in doubt, floor it.

Gotta love the mass and tine length. Well done Prism! Is it just me, or does that buck not have a sticker coming off the back side of his left G2?

The buck is very bladed on his left 2,3, and 4. I can only imagine what may have sprouted off of these points if I'd let him grow up a couple of years.:)

Excellent buck Paul, I can only HOPE to see a buck or two like that on my upcoming hunt. They sure have great mass over there...Steve

Paul,

The pics dont do him justice! Those fronts are awesome. It was good to meet you and congrats on a great buck.

Drum

Drummond,

You're right about the pics. Some of the field photos really turned out good, but these pics don't show much for sure.

It was nice meet you finally as well. I'd love to hear how you guys ended up doing. Send me a pm if you'd like.

Good luck on the rest of your hunts this year.

Man, what an absolute pig! Congrats on another Monster Muley! (how many more 4 leaf clovers you got in your pocket???)

Later, Brandon

HAHAHAHA Brandon. Thanks man! It'd seem you found my clover patch too!!!:)

The crapy thing about this whole deal is now we have to wait a WHOLE FREAKING year to do it again:(

Paul,
Leavin for Colorado in a few hours for the 3rd hunt! hope you left some for us!! LOL Thanks for posting a greart bunch of photos. Great bucks.

Paul,
Looks like the horseshoes are still firmly implanted where the sun don't shine! ;) Congrats on yet another great buck. Way to Go!!!! :) :)

The horseshoe aint too bad, it's that damn leg and hoof that's attached to it:) HAHAHAHA

WOW!!!

IS THAT WHAT THEY LOOK LIKE???

SUPER FINE BUCK!!!

DON'T EVEN TELL ME YOU TOOK HIM IN THE COVETED REGION???

THATS ENOUGH HARVESTING FOR ONE YEAR Prism,LOL!!!

SAVE SOME SEED!!!

THE ONLY bobcat WONDERING IF Prism WOULD LET ME BE THE TRIGGER MAN SINCE HE WANTS TO RUN THE CAMERA???

I'd love to run the camera bobcatbess.

I think we could make one whole DVD on the hunt for the "Nomad" buck.

We'll call it "Legend of the Northeastern Region!":) Or "Basin Bucks Gone Wild!" Or "Never Enough Two Points!"..........

I got to thinking. Maybe if I took all of the clovers out of my back pocket the horses would keep thier heads and hooves out of my arrrssss.LMAO:)

C'mon 2006!

That is an absolutely gorgeous buck. Nothing I love more than heavy dark horns, and that buck certainly isnt lacking in either department. Great job.

That buck is the kind I really like. The mass and and tine lenght really do it for me. Congrats and thanks for sharing. I'll look forward to the DVD.

Congrats Prism on a super heavy-duty buck! Nice string of whoppers you have going!

Again!!! I heard you got a nice buck and the rumor was definitely true! Scott's buck is no slouch either! You guys did great! Keep em' coming man! ;-)

NvrEnuf BIG BUCKS!

Paul, that's an amazing buck, but I still can't figure out why your old man didn't shoot it first? I know that he can still beat ya to the top of the mountain...haha.

Awesome buck Paul. He's got it all, width, long tines, and mass. I really love the mass and how much character those bladed tines give him. I can't stop looking at those pictures - its better than a good woman. Ha!
