So I got all excited to go bow hunting spikes up here on the Cache units this fall while I go to school here in Logan. So I ran out and got me a new call that I don't have...the Cow Girl one.

I showed it to my wife when she got home from work and she took claim to it! All she wanted to do was make elk sounds with it when we went out scouting. Driving down the highway I could hear eeooo about every mile. Tell you what she calls better than I do. She grew up in a non-hunting family and has never been yet. So I am taking her with me on my deer and elk up here. We did find a decent buck last night. I got a great wife, but now I need to go get myself a new call and write my name on it with a permanent marker.

Do you guys have stories like this one?

Yup,

Happens to me all the time. It's a sign of a very good Wife. I had a BLR in .243 and didn't really like the lever much and was going to sell it. Wifey grabbed on to it and hasn't let go yet. It happens with camping gear, bike lights, and you name it. I won't let her have the dog though.

In 2008 I bought my wife a new Excape hybrid because she wanted to go "Green", then a couple weeks later I traded off my truck and bought a new 4x4 truck for myself.

Well she wanted to take it for a test drive and when she came back she took MY key to the truck and gave me HER key to the Excape. Ive been "allowed" to drive the truck maybe a half dozen times in the last 2 years...I'm waiting for one of those " Stupid boys..trucks are for girls" signs to show up on it.

O Well... the Excape makes a better scouting vehicle as it runs on the battery most of the time and is silent.
